Even his “win” with low-information voters will be short-lived.

The Saudi’s, of whom Obama bows to, ain’t happy.

This is the scary part that nobody is much taking about. I bet the phone lines are burning between DC and Saudi Arabia. I would like to be bug in the line.

There is also this.

http://news.sky.com/story/1139496/syria-rebels-give-us-targets-to-defeat-regime

They wanted regime change. They aren’t going to get it. This whole new deal could be nixed if the US also requires regime change.

Obama and his regime thought they could sell the whole thing using chem weapons and the humanitarian issue. They didn’t get that. So...here we are. What next?

Do we really know that Iran doesn’t have nukes yet? I read some years ago that they already may have some Russian nukes that they procured after the fall.

So is Obama going to give his nobel peace prize to Putin and Assad, seeing as they brokered this?

Assad gives up weapons that he can't use, and really doesn't need; the Syrian rebels are set back and will not get a bombing raid that they thought would help them; Obama spent weeks begging the world and the American public and Congress for permission to bomb Syria and was flatly denied. The Russians come out looking tougher and more serious than the US, and close the deal with Syria to comply to a peaceful resolution.

Yep, masterful diplomacy!

This was Lurch’s accidental gaffe. Now that the Assad has seized on it, Barry’s not going to be happy. His entire goal in this was to take out Assad’s military capabilities allowing the Brotherhood to take over. I guarantee he’s going to find conditions to make the whole deal fall apart.

I had been monitoring MSNBC (audio via XM) and when I heard Lurch droning on, I thought it was propagit replay from last week. I turned it off.

Assad will put a couple of crates of shells in a warehouse surrounded by blue helmets.

The rest of his weapons will remain available to troops, and his production facilities will double their output.

Obama and kerry get what they want by threatening force but not requiring a military strike. Huge win for obama and especially for kerry who came up with it. Kerry’s so-called gaffe bailed out Obama.

Of course none of this stuff improves the situation in Syria but that is Syria’s problem. Status quo.

There is no win here. The threat was a false flag. This dispute is all about oil/gas pipelines and money.

So, do we really want those U.N. @hole$ in control of chemical weapons? The ones whose Agenda 21 would have the earth’s population reduced by 85%?

It will be seen as a political win for obama and kerry. Obama and kerry will fight over claiming credit. There is no such thing as a real win in the middle east. :-)

Who’s winning?

Assad has resumed air strikes on Rebels.

Putin has nixed French UN proposal, submitting own draft.

Putin says Syria chem arms handover will work only if US calls off strike.

Obama will indeed call off strikes if the syrians give up some chemical weapons. He never wanted to launch them anyway. This gives him a face saving out and messiah trumpets his role as a peacemaker yet a strong leader because he threatened the syrians and they gave their weapons - supposedly. Obama will play it up as a win tonight. Media will support him. Yada yada yada

Nope. It’s a delay.

WH claiming credit. Claiming bam-bam’s and Kerry’s incredible machoness terrified Assad.
