Kari Bird works full-time, goes to law school and raises her children. Late Wednesday evening she was exiting her vehicle when a group of young boys approached her. She didnt think much about it because they were smiling and seemed happy, until one of them pulled out a gun.
The teenagers demanded that the mom turn over her keys when she realized she had all of her (expensive) law books in the car. Thats when she decided to grab her gun, instead of her keys.

THEY are fortunate that she didn’t shoot before they could run.
Assuming they thought she was retrieving her keys when she was drawing the gun, she had the element of surprise.
She had no obligation to wait for their reaction.
Any time the power turns out to be equal, they are always bluff and exit if possible.
Even though your cracka life means nothing to them, theirs means a lot to em.
If history is any indicator, these were Black kids.
Where did this occur? Nothing in your post indicates the city and/or state.
Indianapolis, apparently.
The newscaster mentions the city at the end of the broadcast.
