Mr Kerry was in London on Monday morning on the final leg of a whirlwind European tour to drum up support for intervention in Syria.
When asked by a reporter whether there was anything Assad's government could do or offer to stop an attack, Mr Kerry said: "Sure, he could turn over every single bit of his chemical weapons to the international community in the next week – turn it over, all of it without delay and allow the full and total accounting (of it).
"But he isn't about to do it and it can't be done." Mr Kerry repeated his belief, stated on numerous occasions, that "the risk of not acting is greater than the risk of acting."

I do not rule out US being nuked...Especially since last Tuesday it was well publicized that some nukes CONveniently went missing from Texas.
If it’s so important that the Saudi’s and Qatar want to fund it...them let them fight. Its not our battle.

For this to happen means someone’s army, or inspectors, will have to go in and account for all the chemicals. Would that mean boots on the ground in blue helmets? obama could say “Not only did I not draw a red line. The world did it. Neither did I put boots on the ground. The world did that, too.”
Maybe this is why Kerry tried to walk it back. I wonder how pissed off VJ is at him for opening his horse mouth.
