GROVELAND, Fla. — In the five weeks since he declared his support for a comprehensive immigration overhaul, U.S. Rep. Daniel Webster has gotten an earful.

It's not "band of republicans." A collective of roaches is called an intrusion of roaches.

don-o ~:" One constituent told the second-term Republican that immigrants carry disease. "

Tell that to New York and California who are expieriencing a resurgence of 'whooping cough' , and medication resistant TB.
When you open your border to third-world immigrants , you also allow entry of those same third-world diseases.
Many countries don't have the same vaccines or medical care that used to be here.
We have already taxed the American public into "Mengele-Care ™” , and are awaiting it to kick in.

Getting rid of these cowardly Republicans would send a message to others that they better put their country first.

Be that as it may, it is not a major point in opposition.

I do not doubt that. But, good luck with getting the LIV to absorb and believe it. What works is the economic impact.

I maintain that is a losing proposition to bring disease into the debate. You will never be able to document it (HIPPA) and you get painted with a “you hate sick people” tag.

We need to keep our eyes on the prize. Syria is a sideshow Obama is using to sneak amnesty by us.

They helped bring back Whooping Cough in our area.

We are now told that we "need to renew our immunizations every 'few years!'"

More that forty years ago and doing just fine until a huge influx of illegals, an outbreak of Whooping Cough, so now WE must "renew our childhood immunizations."

Another said immigrants would steal jobs away from Americans.

Very true. If these immigrants are given a path to citizenship, there will be no rhetorical cover for any of the current crop of RINO's, and for that matter all current Republicans, to hide behind in the next election. Perhaps they have some pipe dream about being nice to the illegals that they will turn out and save their jobs in the next election, or at least that's what Schumer is blowing up everyone's a $ $.

I wish someone would post the names of those Republicans in this "band" of vipers so we could concentrate our freeping efforts on them.

Too bad the writer was too lazy to do so.

This country is so over.

Someone needs to tell Benjamin Franklin we couldn’t keep it.

Looks like Congressman Webster has a bad case of the RINO virus.

It could be fatal to his political future.

The real disease:

Loss of national sovereignty.

Loss of our territorial integrity.

Destruction of the rule of law.

Damaged national security.

Massive economic and governmental burdens imposed upon an already over-burdened, struggling citizenry.

Increase in the debts that this generation cannot possibly repay, thereby imposing burdens upon our posterity to which they did not consent.

Electoral disaster.

That’s just for starters...

There was some sort of conference recently in Orlando involving major American businesses talking about building new manufacturing plants in America to replace ones in the Far East.

We know manufacturing plants were in the Far East because of cheap labor.

Are they coming back to America because the business leaders know there’s a pool of cheap labor to do the trabajo (work) in our future because of amnesty???????

Yep. I noticed that, too. No names to shame. The *report* only mentions "about two dozen GOP lawmakers who support an eventual path to citizenship for millions of people who are living in the U.S. illegally."

Here's more....

Most Republicans oppose this approach on citizenship, and there is little political incentive for them to change their minds. Only 24 of 233 Republicans represent districts where more than one-quarter of their constituents are Hispanic.

Supporters of a path to citizenship point to demographic changes and business backing that have helped sway Webster, who for years opposed immigrant-rights legislation, as potential motives for wavering lawmakers to sign on.

-----------------------------------

Boils down to the fact that some of these *conservatives*, many who rode in on the Tea Party wave, have had their districts redrawn, and are now kowtowing to the more hispanic numbers in their newly drawn districts.

COWARDS!
