Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is bracing for double-digit defections in the Democratic caucus on the resolution authorizing military strikes on Syria, which will get a vote this coming week.
The Syria resolution presents Reid with one of the biggest tests of his leadership this Congress and the outcome has significant effects for President Obamas domestic and foreign policy agendas.

In the senate? Double digit defections?
This is a disaster.
Not to worry Harry. The spineless RINOs will fill the gap.
Lamar Alexander is up for election here in Tennessee. I called his office,
along with Corker’s office to tell them to vote no. Lamar’s office said he is waiting to see the evidence. I laughed. This classified evidence has been
available for two weeks to view in a secure location. Or, like Manchin from
WV, Alexander could have sat in on the Senate committee that voted it out
of committee if he wanted to view the evidence. He did neither.
He is catching hell along with Corker here in Tennessee.
So after two weeks, Axexander still can’t decide?
He needed to look no further than what Tennesseans want. And that is
overwhelming against this debacle.
Could it be that”The Miscreants”are up for re-election in 2014??????????????????
Pryor just came out against it. Tom Cotton better get himself into a hearing and say his mind is changed. At the moment he’s backing Boehner’s position.
Sure they will.
Not to worry. They know they can vote against it because Obama is going to find some new trumped up excuse that lets him just go ahead and do it. Afterwards they (Dems) will back him 100% based on the new “evidence”.
Did they do-do it on his desk?
I contacted both offices voicing my displeasure. How much good will it do? Probably none. The elite do not care much for what we lowly peons think.
I agree. However, at least we took the effort. It’s hard to compete with
Arabs passing out cash for war. I bet Corker and Alexander have a freezer
full of cold, blood stained cash.
I take heart in the fact that we Tennesseans have a long history of mobilizing for good causes. The Alamo. Jim Sasser. AlGore. State Income
Tax, just to name a few. We just don’t talk smack. We Act!
Alexander is first up. Time for him to go.
That’s a real shame for Cotton. He had a real chance of beating Pryor.
He is finished now. That’s what happens when you follow Bonehead
and Cantor.
In addition, it is likely that a primary challenge will emerge for Cotton, as well for his congressional seat.
When I first read the headline, I thought it read “defecations” and not “defections”
I have a feeling this decision will be the end of him, unless we don’t end up going to war, and Syria fades out of the news.
RINOs voting for this BS will be facing a primary challenge; count on it.
Evidence is irrelevant to the fact that there are no U.S. interests involved.
what? they gonna vote republican?
Just words otherwise.
I hope they are already facing a primary challenge for being rino’s.
Yea, I had high hopes for Cotton because Pryor needs to go but this single vote will put Pryor back in office. It’s a shame. I thought Tom Cotton was a lot smarter than that.
