I do take a beating, regularly, too.
Ten cylinders of .44 magnum from a 4” barrel revolver does beat ones hand/wrist more than the non-shooter would think.
Other days, 50 to 100 10mm rounds from a commander length Double Eagle does much the same.
As the Hippy said when asked “How do I get to Lincoln Center” - practice, Baby, practice.
