The difference is, NOW days, there are no benefits like what we were told we would have. But, those benefits have been further and further taken away from us. When I entered, we were told we and our family members, until our kids reached 19 years old, have full medical benefits. Not any more. Now, only the active member has that. Obama in fact wanted them to have to pay for their combat injuries at one point. But now, we all pay. I have more and more taken out of my check each year to pay for my and my wife’s medical. The lies of what we would have and what we have now had taken away have come back to screw us all. Had we been told 35 years ago that today we would have what we have now, we could have planned better. Back then we planned for today on what they told us we would have today. But now it is more and more less. We did not plan for this and it has now come back to bite us. But then we thought, we trusted our leadership to live up to those promises. As usual, they LIED. They are all liars. that is why I tell kids not go go in. I do not believe I own any of the scum anything. I did my time. I earned what I earned. But they now take it all away.
