Smells like BS!
I read that this crisis is due to the Saudis desire to overthrow the government and have a interim government installed. Then they would be free to build a natural gas pipeline to Europe. Meanwhile Putin is backing present government because they have the only pipeline exporting natural gas and that keeps the price (for them ) low. The U.S. is siding with the Saudis(as it has since Omar the tent maker got his first Rolls Royce for permission take his oil) so the U.S. will have access to the gas.
About as reliable as the Volkischer Beobachter announcing that Polish troops attacked the German Radio station in Gleiwitz.
Gee, that’s too bad.
Hmm ...
UN draws up emergency plan for Syria strike

UN agencies have drawn up emergency plans for a military strike on Syria but are determined to keep delivering aid in the stricken country, a top UN official said Friday.
“We continue to update and look at our contingency planning” in case the numbers of refugees fleeing Syria rises, UN humanitarian chief Valerie Amos said after a trip to Damascus.

If true not surprising. Obama pretty much needs this to validate his WW3 meme.
Yes, one facet of it is natural gas.
The other facet is Zero and his psychotic need to back the Muslim Brudders and sell out to Al-Qeada at every chance.
So how stupid do you give them credit for? These are the same inbred camel bangers that attacked Israel three times and got their bungs busted three-in -a-row. Maybe not learning fast and stupid is the same thing? Every time I point my stupidmeter toward the ME the needle curls up like a pig tail.
It’s possible it’s only being reported in Arabic, which I don’t read. But I’m suspicious of this report.
Rebels and Saudis doing this in order to drum up more support.
yep and if we attack.
“Syria” will immediately start rocketing someone, though it wont be the Syrians doing it.
We have worse-than-amateurs running our country and defense.
John F.”u@king Traitor” Kerry is our G0d4mn Secretary of State?
I am sick about this mess because it doesn’t have to be this way.
Gas was $1.61 before Obama was elected. When was the last time it was under $3?
I’ve said it before, I can almost understand Saddam Hussein taking out his political enemies and killing them. I can see how a less reasonable person could get to that point.
All of the sudden these POS democrats want to use the military for more than just flying them home on the weekends.
Why the hell do I agree with Alan Grayson?
Up is down, black is white. The world is opposite bizzaro world now.

Check out #25 post.
this isn’t Assad controlling this anymore.
It’s like a satire piece only it won’t fool as many people into thinking it’s real. Lloyd Christmas wouldn’t be tricked by this b.s..
Activists are reporting it, eh? How convenient.
I think its a fake.
Nothing on Bloomberg or Al Arabiya, both of which the article cite as the source.
More false flags. Probably more to come by Obama’s speech on Tuesday.
On the other hand Assad has to do something to show he's not afraid of Obama or anything he can do to him. So what better way to do it than launch another gas strike? His protectors China and Russia will continue run interference and the whole matter can be muddied enough that nobody will do anything. It's just a big cesspool start to finish and we should just stay out of it.
It’s not true.
Not only that the Saudis are backing the new “opposition leader” because he is sunni from one of their tribes
Saudi money is paying for the jihadist weapons allu akhbar
Some reports from locals say the Saudis gave them the CW weapons to use as a provocation to get the West into the war against assad
imagine that
and then there is that pipeline the Saudis would like to see through Syria
Oh and sticking a Saudi finger in the eyes of the Iranians and displacing them and their militias from Syria- priceless
