“”Special cargo” is an utterly unveiled reference to nuclear weaponry,...”
I’m asking you a serious question: Where would Russia use this “nuclear weaponry” in Syria. That doesn’t make sense as a nuclear blast in Syria would kill Syrians and Syria is Russia’s friend. They aren’t going to turn Syria into glass. If Russia attacked our ships, they wouldn’t use a nuclear bomb to do that since it would also destroy their ships and personnel. What am I missing????
The Mediterranean, while small for ships because of their spheres of influence, is still large enough to detonate a small nuke — sufficient to take out a ship (or ships) — and not damage the originator of the ordnance.

Well for one a nuke on our ships would not necessarily harm any Russian ships unless they were within about 10 miles of the blast, and if they were going to nuke our ships in the Med I am sure they would get clear before such a strike, if they are not already.
Perhaps a good warning of such an event might be all Russian ships in close proximity to US ships high tailing it away from any US warships. And the Russians are well versed and equipped in tactical naval nuclear warfare.
Some one at some point in time is going to turn Syria into glass. Read Isaiah 17.
‘Special cargo’ is probably a bacon and vodka for Christians and Alawites. Just to play USN for fools if they are to intercept it for inspection (Remember Bolivian Air Force #1 forced down over Snowden’s rumor).
