The State Department is hitting back at what it calls false accusations that Russian President Vladimir Putin made about Secretary of State John Kerry.
Jen Psaki is a department spokeswoman. She says Kerry is a decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam war and has had more than words aimed at him.
Psaki says Kerry is not losing sleep because of Putin's quote preposterous comment that was based on an inaccurate rendering of what Kerry said.

A few years ago I was at Purple Heart ceremony for a Marine who was wounded in Iraq. The ceremony was kind of quiet and routine. Another Marine there told me that many Marine combat veterans are not real big on Purple Hearts because it’s like wearing a badge that says, “The enemy got me.”
Kerry wanted to pile up three Purple Hearts so he could get out of Vietnam. Meanwhile, Marines like Ollie North were refusing Purple Hearts because they wanted to get back to the battlefield with their men.
Look at this idiot in his uniform. He is before Congress and wears his daily uniform and it’s not even crisp.

Uncle is retired Army. No one even knew he had gotten hurt, much less given a Purple Heart. He served several tours in Viet Nam.
He was helping my grandparents at their farm years later and took off his shirt because it was so hot.
He thought no one was around, but there was, and the scars were clearly visible.
He did not elaborate and hasn't talked about it since.
Kerry blew up rice with a grenade and ended up with rice shrapnel - doofus, poser, liar - I could go on and on.........I have zero respect for him and all the respect in the world for my uncle.

The level of US military training was good then and exponentially better now.
Incredibly, with this level of training, dedication and discipline, retired military are welcomed home by the Rats, Obama, Kerry, and Clinton with government suspicion, surveillance and denial of Constitutional rights.

That’s the difference between true HEROES and Kerry. I was told that the reason he volunteered for the swift boats was because he thought all he would be doing was ferrying supplies back and forth and he was bored on the ship. When he found out that he would actually have to fight he insured that he got his cowardly ass out as fast as possible. Kerry is an insult to all who served honorably, whether they wanted to go to war or not. Suck on that NSA.
