Obama’s foot on Oval Office desk sends shockwaves around the world

Shock, outrage and mocking criticism is building among conservatives — and those of other political stripes who put the White House and its possessions on a historical pedestal – over a photograph showing President Obama in an informal pose, with his foot on his Oval Office desk.

The desk hails back from 1880, a gift from Britain’s Queen Victoria. And even its construction is special: It was built with wood from the sunken Arctic Rescue Ship, the HMS Resolute. But to Mr. Obama, it’s a good place to rest his feet, as The Daily Mail reported.

Absolutely agree. I told my husband the same thing as soon as I saw it. Who stands like that? Talking on the phone and you just think oh, it would be so comfy to put my foot on the desk, NOT. He did it because he knew the photographer was there.

Doesn't shock me...I expected it. Remember during the first Clinton inaugeration when the sit-com celebrity and others were jumping up and down on the bed in the Lincoln Bedroom screaming "We won. We won!".

Liberals are children. They don't think past their own immediate gratification. They will never understand protocol as Bambi put his soles of his shoes on the Resolute Desk. They will never get concepts like tradition, honor, integrity, humility, self-control, et al. They will never get it because they have been edumacated in self-esteem, rather than respect.

The entire parents of the free world had to explain what a blowjob was after Clinton. While I'm no prude, I found that offensive that our innocent children had to grow up so fast. While I was at the "March For Justice", I flipped him the bird.

Now we have every inane program flooding our airwaves and people wonder what has happened to our youth? "Honey Boo Boo"? Really, that's worth someone's time to watch her fat as mom exploit her child? I could go on...but you get my point.
