After the 2014 midterms? Get bent, Boehner.
You need to pack your bags and get out now, you appeasing, back-stabbing, worthless Democrat!
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!
Why wait. Step down now and let someone who can lead have the damn job. I’m sick and tired of his duplicitous ways.
Why wait!!
An alternative possibility is that he’s trying to triangulate and pull Obama to the right in any compromises that take place in the next 6-8 months.
The rationale being that moving to the right to get Boehner onboard represents the best chance of Obama salvaging his failed second term. Because a new GOP Speaker in 2015 will be a wild card and a Conservative unwilling to move even an inch Left with a lame duck President.
This assumes that Obama is really a Clintonian pragmatist. Which we know he ISN’T.
Can you make it today instead, John? Pleeeeeeeze!!!!
I hope other GOP house and senate leaders such Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, and Mitch McConnell will take a hint and step aside so we might have a chance to put conservatives back in charge of the party. Yeah, it may already be too late but we have to start with purging the RINO’s from leadership positions.
“Hate” is a strong word, but it comes pretty close to what informed Republicans feel toward this traitorous scoundrel. Maybe he finally got the message with the calls coming into his office over Syria.
The problem is that all of his first lieutenants are every bit as onerous. Cantor? LOL He’s a freakin’ fraud, too. Bob
When he does, who will be the new MINORITY Leader?
And then we get who? Ryan? Yay.
Regardless, step down now, Boehner.
He should realllllly step down right now!
