You are right on!!! Actually I hate General Dempsey!!! But...yesterday, after Rand Paul took that moron, John Kerry to the woodshed....Kerry tries to pass the ball to Dempsey, because Kerry could not handle Rand Paul. But.....Dempsey smirked and said, “No thanks, Mr, Secretary of State”!!! Both are incopetents in the highest order!!!
They even brought the red hands back. RT @bennyjohnson And Code Pink has already taken over the hearing room. pic.twitter.com/hjnfu6BPCU
“They lie beautifully, of course. I saw debates in Congress. A congressman asks Mr Kerry: ‘Is al Qaeda there?’ He says: ‘No, I am telling you responsibly that it is not’,” Putin said at a meeting of his human rights council in the Kremlin.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Which congressman asked Kerry that question?
I saw that as well. Dempsey is smart enough not to get involved when he doesn’t have to. He doesn’t want to piss off the Reps too much since he depends on them to defend his budget.
The U.S. does not NEED the approval of the U.N., ever. We are a sovereign nation. We make our own decisions. If the U.N. disagrees with our decision, they can use U.N. forces to try to stop us. We are not subject to their decisions.
The credibility of Congress is on the line because Obama put the decision before them to consider and make. So their previous resolutions on chemical weapons are relevant. Obama did draw a line.
With that said, I don’t want to spill American blood in a Syrian civil war. I don’t want to support Assad. I don’t want to support Al Qaeda.
At 11:58am they showed a group of Code Pink on CSPAN in the hearing room.
I don’t get it - why do they even allow them in to begin with? This has been going on since 9/11.
After two hour briefing, top ranking Armed Senate Cmte member Sen Jim Inhofe walks out, saying they haven't made an adequate case to him
Dunno. I zoned out.
I count 7 of those idiots in the picture. Does that mean all 7 will get themselves kicked out in the middle of the hearing?
There is NO CAUSUS BELI. It’s really just that simple.
The Obama Democrat ilk cannot even be on time to start the hearings. Shameful!!! Welll.....they are only following th the path set by their anti-American leader, Barack Hussein (I love my Muslim Bortherhood/AlQaeda Brethren) Obama. Congress Critters vote “No’!!!
I wish Kerry would pass up an opening statement and proceed directly to questions.
From the start:
The Hearing states that Assad wrought the WMD.
That is stated by Ed Royce (R).
Hearing started at 12:15pm. Kerry is there but Hagel and Dempsey’s seats are empty.
At least Royce is less long winded than Menendez was.
Perhaps Hagel and Dempsey are too busy to grace House members with their presence?
