People are tired of the Republican-Democrat alliance

And the war on drugs is working so well.
We need to rethink who our representatives should be. I’m for considering instead of the current 435 paid (and corrupt), a change to representation from each county/parish in the land. Let each be compensated by the locals and judged accordingly.
This would give us approximately 3,000 CITIZEN Representatives, instead of the 435 lobbied and self-centered politicians who only look out for themselves and the moneyed elite.
In 9 working days, I am going Galt, and yes, the Lord is still in control, but a lot of bad things can happen. The only thing I have that is secure, is eternity. Beyond that, there are no guarantees.
I can only pray that it will not get worse before we see further blessings. However, I fear that it WILL get much worse! I doubt that God will bestow his favor on a nation that celebrates perversion.
In that case, we are in COMPLETE agreement.

Is she a traditionalist Christian conservative??
“You cannot sell liquor between midnight and five in the morning. Now what odious creature came up with this one? They might say it will stop drinking and driving at night, I would answer ‘what about the rest of the time when the roads or more crowded? If the point was to stop drinking and driving then why not only allow liquor to be sold between midnight and five in the morning? Makes a lot more sense really huh? huh? hello?
Again, its an artificial construct that impedes freedom (to buy liquor) and does nothing to stop the evil it purports to be about (drunk driving). People who are going to drink and drive will just buy their liquor at another time of day, ever heard of a refrigerator? This is leftism again in its various insidious forms.”
These words of yours sound a little libertarian to me.
libertarians ARE drug pushers in that they want to normalize and seek acceptance of it
That's true. In Biden's words: This is a big effing deal.
Nope.
That was just common sense
One great thing about the “alternative media” is that not only are there sources of truth to go to regarding the Dhimms/socialists/marxists, but there are also sources to finally call out the Big Government Republicans.
They’re finally being called out by sources that get the attention of a large segment of the Republican voting base. This is not good news for McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, Alexander, et al.
libertarians support gay marriage and open borders too
so there is at 3 issues that cause me to never consider them
bump
And yet, isn’t that what the Republicans are doing, too?
Consider what, by their actions, not words, they support.
Boehner Supports: Amnesty (wants to vote for it), Gay marriage (won’t oppose it), Obamacare (won’t defund it), Syrian excursion, NSA spying without warrants.
Boehner Opposes: TEA party, special prosecutors for Benghazi, IRS, Gunwalker.
Will he go along and raise taxes? Does he support cutting government with votes to defund?
Well, does he/do the Republicans?
They are NOT the same party we once supported.
If the Libertarians are true to their words and want to have smaller government, less taxes and staying out of other peoples wars, then maybe I am more a Libertarian than a Republican...
Not going to happen.
A county with 100 residents and a county with 2 million getting the same vote?
Not going to happen
I have a nephew getting ready to graduate in a couple of years and he wants to join the Marines. His Dad and grandfather are strongly counseling against becoming cannon fodder for those damned warmongering fools in Washington.
His grandfather is hardly a dove, more a Goldwater conservative hawk but he see’s nothing left in Washington that is worth fighting for as we are no longer a Republic and the Constitution has been shredded.
I am a Libertarian. Yes, I support drug legalization, because the War on Drugs is an absolute failure. Just an excuse to seize property. As to gay marriage, that is an individual personal thing. No to open borders as it adversely affect our security.
Individual liberty, small unintrusive government. That is the view from here.
