I live in Vermont and I can tell you that the VT. State government has been in a legal fight with Entergy for the past four years. Entergy got the okay to keep running the plant for the next twenty years, despite its being almost forty years old. No one saw Entergy giving up and decommissioning the plant. The hippies were literally dancing in the streets here.

650 people are going to be out of work, power bills are going to skyrocket, property taxes are going to go through the roof, but so long as the fish aren’t glowing we’re supposed to be happy. “Sigh”

It’s sad what’s happened to your state.

Goddamn hippies, I wonder why they chose Vermont.

Jefferson County in the Olympic peninsula, Washington state, is another infested area according to a freeper that lives there. That explains it’s heavily rat voting pattern despite being rural. Like Vermont, another good place for a commune I guess.

They ruined San Fransisco too, that town didn’t used to be the butt of every joke like it is now.
