Syria chemical weapons attack blamed on Assad, but where's the evidence?
CBS ^ | Aug 29 2013 | TUCKER REALS

Posted on 09/01/2013 3:25:30 PM PDT by WilliamIII

Prime Minister David Cameron told British lawmakers Thursday that there is "no 100 percent certainty about who is responsible" for the apparent mass-chemical weapons attack on suburban Damascus on Aug. 21.

Nevertheless, Cameron asserted that "from all the evidence we have," his government, along with the Obama administration, had made the "judgment" that "the regime is responsible and should be held to account."

Also just like the Obama administration, however, Cameron's government has yet to explain exactly what the evidence of Assad's culpability is, or where it came from.

It makes no sense militarily or politically for Assad to gas his own people like this. Unless he has been assured that Putin will back his play, and Assad’s endgame is starting WWIII, there is no point to it. Obama’s sympathy for the Al Qaeda riddled Muslim Brotherhood is well known. I hope some one else is thinking along these lines, because backing rebels is backing those who (indirectly) brought us 9-11..

Furthermore, the rebels routinely commit atrocities against Christians and burn their churches. This is ignored by the Obama Administration, and most certainly by CAIR and the Main Stream Media.

Why do they do that? Why do they support the Muslim Brotherhood that is committed to killing Christians and are dedicated to the annihilation of Israel? We have seen it in Libya, in Egypt, and in Syria. The common factor in all three countries is the Muslim Brotherhood.

The evidence is in Vietnam, which rhymes with Ghengis Kahn.

Who is responsible for the killing of our people in Benghazi? Who is responsible for the IRS scandals? Who is responsible for the gun running to Mexico? We can’t even get truthful answers to questions about what is going on in our own government and in our own country, let alone in Syria.

Sarin is an organophosphate compound.
Chemical organophosphates are also used in bug spray in many countries including in the US.
The chemicals sold could have been used in agriculture.
Where is the evidence that the Syrian government used the chemicals to make sarin?
Sodium Flouride is added to our own water supplies to prevent cavities.

Lets make the leap of faith that Assad used chemical weapons....

So what? If he machine gunned or conventionally bombed the people that would be OK?

Chemical weapons is just a beard....

The only reason for attack would be Syria declared war on us, we faced imminent attack, or there was a clear interest for the US....

None of these have been met...

All that has been met is that the little pissant we call President had his ego bruised...

Not a reason to go to war....

Well you have to look at what his administration said in March 2011 when sec of state Clinton stated that Assad was a reformer. Is she ready to be the President in 2016? I think not.

Kerry is also quoted in the article.
