Just the other day I had someone turn on me fang and claw for saying that Obama would like to take my guns away. The notion was “paranoid” and “ridiculous.”
I hear ya. I have family members who listen but scoff. They don’t even object to what I say anymore. They just write my thoughts off.
People are sleep walking into a buzz saw. There’s no other way to put it.
When they pulll out their fangs and claws you should say “Would you like to try to take away my guns?” Then point your finger at them and say “Even my imaginary gun?”

There is nothing coming out of those shower heads but water, they just want us to be clean and comfortable.
I was trying to search for an old video of Obama as a congressman/senator from way back. IIRC he said something like “I’d like to get rid of all the guns, but that obviously isn’t possible so we have to ....” I may be wrong on that, but I don’t think so. Of course he might have been talking about something similar.
“I’d like to get rid of all business men.....”
“I’d like to get rid of all corporations....”
“I’d like to get rid of all coal-fired plants...”
