Syria hailed an "historic American retreat" on Sunday, mockingly accusing President Barack Obama of hesitation and confusion after he delayed a military strike to consult Congress.
"Obama announced yesterday, directly or through implication, the beginning of the historic American retreat," Syria's official al-Thawra newspaper said in a front-page editorial.
Syria's deputy foreign minister Faisal Mekdad accused Obama of indecision. "It is clear there was a sense of hesitation and disappointment in what was said by President Barack Obama yesterday. And it is also clear there was a sense of confusion as well," he told reporters in Damascus.

Please, House Repubs, do not take a vote. Delay, delay and demand more information from Intelligence agencies. Blame Obama for not complying. You may even get a bargain out of this deal.

They actually want the US to intervene, and to dive in without thinking. And the US will intervene. I can’t believe anyone is this stupid.

The only way that Obama can save face and get out of this without starting a war is to trumpet Putin’s remark about Russian intelligence finding that Al Qaeda has co-opted the Free Syria Movement.
Even though he knows he’s been supplying Al Qaeda with weapons to fight Assad, he can plead ignorance - something that is actually believable with a boob for a President - in announcing the following:
“I spoke with Vladimir (no relation to Vlad Tepech) Putin who told me that al Qaeda terrorists had infiltrated the ranks of the rebels and were perpetrating atrocities against both Assad’s soldiers who surrendered but also raping women and cutting the heads off their children.” I have also been told by reliable sources that it was al Qaeda who staged the gas attack to get America involved in the fighting and give them an excuse to launch terrorist attacks on malls, school, and theaters and blame it on Hezbollah terrorists.”.
“Putin said, “They (al Qaeda) also want to tell the world that America was arming us because no one would believe that America would arm their #1 enemy.”
Obama says that we knew from our US intelligence that al Qaeda has, in the past, deliberately staged attacks and blamed it on others. Look what they did on 9/11. They did not care how many children they killed or how many of them were Muslim.”
We would be making a grave mistake in giving aid and comfort to our enemy as that would be seen as a traitorous act on my part. This does not change our feelings towards what Assad has done with conventional weapons, but since neither side has the high moral ground here, we need more time to reassess the situation, and with Mr Putin’s help, we can call for an immediate ceasefire on both sides and work towards a peaceful diplomatic resolution that cannot be decided militarily. Too many people have died already and we do not want to see more bloodshed. As for what Assad said about me, personally, and about America, he’s just showin’ off for his homeys.”
(Putin asks, “What is this ‘homeys’?”)
“I was not properly informed as to the the make-up of Assad’s opposition forces. But, make no mistake. An atrocity is an atrocity and the perpetrators will be brought to justice with the help of the international community.”
Then, the Obamamedia will go Coo-Coo for Cocoa Puffs on how “thoughtful, “measured, and courageous” was his decision.
Puke bags all around.
Whatever it takes to step back from the brink so that we can impeach the bastard.

The little SAB is sadly mistaken. I’ve been to Europe - a lot. I’ve been all over the Pacific and Central America too. Everybody wants to come to America. And the first place they all want to go is California.

The little SAB got a nursing degree and when I mentioned serving the wounded soldiers at the VA or on a Medivac flight in the Air Force. Her response was “I would NEVER work for a VA or join the military.” That was the end of our relatioinship. Another place she would NEVER work is in the British healthcare system. She has a friend who came from England to be a nurse here. For some reason they don’t like the British system as much as they like ours. I don’t know what they’ll do when they’re successful at bringing their system to our shores.

Given the Arab Muslim mentality and teachings, it is permitted to lie, cheat, steal, rape, murder and claim to be close to Muhammad. Assad can jump for joy all he wants but it is simple Middle Eastern games.
Both Egypt and Syria still celebrate their great victory in the Yom Kippur War of 1973 even though they suffered tremendous losses to the Israelis. Take note where all the rioting as of late was taking place in Cairo, on or near the October 6th Bridge (when they attacked Israel in 1973). Sadat was killed by the MB at a commemoration VICTORY (over Israel) parade on October 6th 1981.
Syria has commemorations for the great “Ramadan War” (Yom Kippur 1973 War) and their vicotry over Israel which is so far from the truth it is sad.
The PLO was kicked out of Beirut in 1982 but they still flash V for Victory signs with their hands.
Libya's Khaddafy taunted and said he stood up to Reagan even after he was bombed in 1986.
Saddam Hussein claimed he won in 1991 and he taunted Bush Sr., Clinton and Bush Jr. Always saying how he beat the Americans.
Nasrallah of Hizbollah claims a great victory over Israel in every engagement, the last one being in 2006. They too claim total victory even though this is not true. Now Assad can claim victory all he wants but his country is being run by Russia and Iran and he has at least 120,000 dead and probably twice or three times wounded. His country and people are devastated.
The Arabs have a serious problem being intellectual honest where they can never say sorry, never compromise, never admit wrong doing, never ever surrender and if they are beaten, they have to convert a loss into some kind of victory - this is the way it works so if you have to fight them you must defeat them like the Japanese in WWII - anything less is a victory in their minds. The West STILL does not understand this concept...

Intelligence Analysis Study:
The geopolitical dimension of Syria, Turkey Israel and the Greater Middle East Energy War
Posted on February 19, 2013
Intelligence Analysis Study
The significant question to be asked at this point iswhat could bind Israel, Turkey, Qatar in a form of unholy alliance on the one side,
and Assads Syria, Iran, Russia and China on the other side,
in such deadly confrontation over the political future of Syria? One answer is energy geopolitics.
What has yet to be fully appreciated in geopolitical assessments of the Middle Eastis the dramatically rising importance of the control of natural gas to the futureof not only Middle East gas producing countries,
but also of the EU and Eurasiaincluding Russia as producer and China as consumer.
Natural gas is rapidly becoming the clean energy of choice to replace coal and nuclear electric generation across the European Union, most especially since Germanys decision to phase out nuclear after the Fukushima disaster.
Gas is regarded as far more environmentally friendly in terms of its so-called carbon footprint.
The only realistic way EU governments, from Germany to France to Italy to Spain, will be able to meet EU mandated CO2 reduction targets by 2020is a major shift to burning gas instead of coal.
Gas reduces CO2 emissions by 50-60% over coal.
Given that the economic cost of using gas instead of wind or other alternative energy forms is dramatically lower,
gas is rapidly becoming the energy of demand for the EU, the biggest emerging gas market in the world.
Huge gas resource discoveries in Israel, in Qatar and in Syria combined with the emergence of the EU as the worlds potentially largest natural gas consumer,
combine to create the seeds of the present geopolitical clash over the Assad regime.
Syria-Iran-Iraq Gas pipeline
In July 2011, as the NATO and Gulf states destabilization operations against Assad in Syria were in full swing,
the governments of Syria, Iran and Iraq signed an historic gas pipeline energy agreementwhich went largely unnoticed amid CNN reports of the Syrian unrest.
The pipeline, envisioned to cost $10 billion and take three years to complete, would run from the Iranian Port Assalouyeh near the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, to Damascus in Syria via Iraq territory.
Iran ultimately plans then to extend the pipeline from Damascus to Lebanons Mediterranean port where it would be delivered to EU markets.
Syria would buy Iranian gas along with a current Iraqi agreement to buy Iranian gas from Irans part of South Pars field.
South Pars, whose gas reserves lie in a huge field that is divided between Qatar and Iran in the Gulf,
is believed to be the worlds largest single gas field.
De facto it would be a Shiite gas pipeline from Shiite Iran via Shiite-majority Iraq onto Shiite-friendly Alawite Al-Assads Syria.
Adding to the geopolitical drama is the fact that the South Pars gas find lies smack in the middle of the territorial divide in the Persian Gulf between Shiite Iran and the Sunni Salafist Qatar.
Qatar also just happens to be a command hub for the Pentagons US Central Command, headquarters of United States Air Forces Central,No. 83 Expeditionary Air Group RAF, and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing of the USAF.
In brief Qatar, in addition to owning and hosting the ANTI-Al-Assad TV station Al-Jazeera, which beams ANTI-Syria propaganda across the Arab world,
Qatar is tightly linked to the US and NATO military presence in the Gulf.
Qatar apparently has OTHER PLANS with their share of the South Pars field than joining up with Iran, Syria and Iraq to pool efforts.
Qatar has NO INTEREST in the success of the Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline, which would be entirely independent of Qatar or Turkey transit routes to the opening EU markets.
In fact IT IS DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO SABOTAGE IT, UP TO AND INCLUDING ARMING SYRIA'S RAG-TAG OPPOSITION FIGHTERS,
MANY OF THEM JIHADISTS sent in from other countries INCLUDING SAUDI ARABIA, PAKISTAN AND LIBYA.
Further adding to QATAR'S DETERMINATION TO DESTROY THE SYRIA-IRAN-IRAQ GAS COOPERATION
is the discovery in August 2011 by Syrian exploration companies of a huge new gas field in Qara
near the border with Lebanon and NEAR TO THE RUSSIAN-LEASED NAVAL PORT OF TARTUS ON THE SYRIAN MEDITERRANEAN. Any export of Syrian or Iranian gas to the EU would go through the Russian-tied port of Tartus.
According to informed Algerian sources, the new Syrian gas discoveries, though the Damascus government is downplaying it, are believed to EQUAL OR EXCEED THOSE OF QATAR.
As Asia Times knowledgeable analyst Pepe Escobar pointed out in a recent piece,Qatars scheme calls for export of its huge gas reserves via Jordans Gulf of Aqaba,
a country where a Muslim Brotherhood THREAT TO THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE KING IS ALSO THREATENING.
The Emir of Qatar has apparently CUT A DEAL WITH THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOODin which he backs their international expansion
in return for a pact of peace at home in Qatar.
A Muslim Brotherhood regime in Jordan and also in Syria, backed by Qatar, would change the entire geopolitics of the world gas market
suddenly and decisively in Qatars favor
AND TO THE DISADVANTAGE OF RUSSIA, SYRIA, IRAN AND IRAQ.
That would also be A STAGGERING NEGATIVE BLOW TO CHINA.
As Escobar points out,its clear what Qatar is aiming at:TO KILL THE U.S. $10 billion Iran-Iraq-Syria gas pipeline,
a deal that was clinched even as the Syria uprising was already underway.
Here we see QATAR IN DIRECT COMPETITION WITH both Iran (as a producer) and Syria (as a destination),and to a lesser extent, Iraq (as a transit country).
Its useful to remember that TEHRAN AND BAGHDAD ARE ADAMENTLY ÅGAINST REGIME CHANGE IN DAMASCUS.He adds, if theres regime change in Syria helped by the Qatari-proposed invasion things get much easier in Pipelineistan terms.
A more than probable Muslim Brotherhood (MB) post-Assad regime would more than welcome a Qatari pipeline.
And that would make an extension to Turkey much easier.
WORLD WAR III is coming, quicker than you think.
It's going to go NUCLEAR real fast.
Read your Bible (especially about
"the remnant of Syria" and
"the king of the north", "the king of the south" ) !

It's about oil and gas.
Obama wants to trade American blood for Muslim Terrorist to have access to the Leviathan Natural Gas Field. It's already been verified by several sources that
Saudi Prince Bandar provided chemical weapons for an Al-Qaeda linked terrorist group which they blame for the August 21 chemical attack in the region.
Why?
Because the Muslims don't want Christians in their area, and they certainly don't want them to have the oil and gas, and the wealth that comes from that.
That source said:
" As per the US Geological Survey (USGS) estimates, the entire Leviathan Basin holds a mean approximation of 1.7 billion barrels of recoverable oil and a mean of 122 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas.
The Leviathan gas field's natural gas reserves are estimated to be about 17 trillion cubic feet (tcf). Besides natural gas, the field is said to contain 600 million barrels of oil beneath the gas layer. "
Another source said:
" Two years ago, in June 2010, the Leviathan, the largest gas field in the Eastern Mediterranean that stretches from Egypt to Syria was discovered by Houston Texas based Noble Energy. The natural gas reserves in that find that are in Palestinian, Lebanese and Syrian territorial watersM are estimated to be something in the range of 25 trillion cubic feet (Tcf). Some experts are estimating that there might also be up to 600 million barrels of oil. And that is not all. Preliminary exploration has confirmed similarly impressive reserves of gas and oil in the waters off Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Syria.
That discovery is now causing enormous political, geopolitical as well as economic consequences. "
So now, the ILLEGAL ALIEN IN CHIEF tells us something that HE KNOWS is ENTIRELY FALSE,
because he wants the oil and gas to be controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood
and he's wanting to take out the competition that Saudi Arabia is having from Syria in oil revenues.
Again, Putin is VERY CONCERNED about WHO will sell oil and gas to Europe and
had a deal with Assad about his oil pipe line.
The United Nations wants to "Rise In Power".
I'm not saying it's about U.S. oil and gas concerns.
It's about RUSSIA's concerns, China's concerns, Saudi Arabia's concerns, Iran's concerns, Iraq's concerns, and Jordan's concerns.
But Russia will be the main player, and it's submarines, aircraft, and weapons will put the ILLEGAL ALIEN IN CHIEF to shame.
This is none of our business.
The Kenyan Turd has no U.S. National Security Interest there AT ALL !
But Satan's servant, Obama, doesn't care about the law, or our precious resources and Nation Treasure of American blood.
DAMN HIM.
DAMN HIM TO HELL!

- Senator John McCain and Senator Lindsey Graham want more drastic action then just 2 days of missles against Assad - not less - they want a full blown war
- Assad is the one mideast leader that has protected Christians and Jews
- Obama, McCain, Graham are ready to partner with, supply, and join with the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Quada to fight with the sworn enemies of Christians -
- Think about that sportsfans.....
- As Sarah Palin said - Let Allah sort out the radical Muslims in Syria
- If the Arab League wants Assad removed - let them pony up and send their troops and petro bucks for once
- Over 100,000 Syrians have (allegedly) died - why are suddenly 1400 dead so “speshul”
- This is a huge diversion by Obama and he is making you look ate the cute squirrel running by - Obama is wanting the debt ceiling boosted - he has “frozen” the debt clock for the last 130 days
- Ever ask yourself where most of that 16 trillion plus of debt went?
- You know where it went - into the pockets of Obama’s friends and relatives
.

Too bad the Founders could not foresee such a disastrous election result and give us a quick escape hatch, such as the vote of no confidence that several European countries have.
Too bad the founders did not rule that only landowners and taxpayers could vote. How different would America be today if this were true?
