When I talk with people about the false GW issues, I always make sure they understand how the temps during winters have dropped in South America for the past 10 years or so.
Things like two years back when it snowed in Rio. And the fish and reptile kill offs.
As well as the blanket distributions a few years back in Peru.

You don’t understand. A liberal explained to me that along with unusually high temperatures, unusually low temperatures are a sign of global warming as are an increase in hurricanes, a decrease in hurricanes, more rain fall, less rain fall, increases in tornadoes, decreases in tornadoes and carrots.

"Passengers on interprovincial buses were forced to wait some eight to 10 hours on the icy highways at temperatures of minus 15 degrees Celsius."
That's 5 degrees above zero, Fahrenheit, and it should be about the end of winter there, near spring. Had a low of -39 (F) at my place last winter and strings of nights in the minus 30s (F).
