Both he and Kerry got it from the UN observers who were just there. The film of a sea of dead adult wrapped bodies and 400 of wrapped up children's bodies side by side means this has to be stopped or does the world's countries let it keep happening? I certainly don't know how to stop it and Hussein is a disaster, along with Kerry. Six million Jews were killed in WWII and no one stopped it until major war happened and Hitler was defeated.
Do we just say, “too bad”, and dismiss it? If we do intervene to actually do something worthwhile, Iran and Syria have already said they attack Israel if we shoot missiles into Syria. Russia and China are in ships off the coast of Syria. Will we start a World War if we do something? I think that is totally possible as Russia, China, and the rest of the world thinks we are weak and they are right as long as Hussein is running our military.
This may be the time when Damascus is destroyed by a nuclear bomb as the Bible says it will be utterly destroyed. We won't do it, but Israel may have to do it if Syria attacks them, along with Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza attacking Israel at the same time.
I think the next two/three weeks will determine which way this goes.
6 Billion can die if we start a war everywhere that bad things are happening.
While it's brutal, awful and sad... it's still not our fight. This country in 2008 chose, through its election of Obama, to descend to the second tier of world power, and the funding of our military reflects that mindset. We can't be all things to all people.. The UN, the Arab League, NGOs and others can tend to getting a cessation of hostilities and begin the process of rebuilding. ...But it's not our fight. We're a severely declining country in our own right. We don't need any more foreign adventures right now.
