On CNN's The Lead, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) explains his opposition to U.S. military intervention in Syria's civil war:
"It's not even clear it was a chemical attack. If it was a chemical attack, then the residue left on the clothing of victims would have poisoned other people. That hasn't happened."

OMG.... I am agreeing with Grayson?????!!!!?!?!?!!?
THE HORROR!
Damn the bastard who would put me in a position to agree with Alan Grayson!
That’s awesome - all communication devices should come with a NSA-thwarting scrambler-descrambler.
Make every day “opposite day”
Mark my words before this is over, Obama and the media will find a way to blame the Republicans for this mess in Syria.
But, does Grayson have a point? The Rebels were caught out earlier. The pictures just look staged.
Brilliant man, he is.
It’s already happened. Someone posted a MoveOn scare-tactic send-us-money email the other day that full-on blamed the pubbies for the Syria mess.
He might at that. I remember photos of crying elders handling the 'bodies' bare-handed. It's been a while for me, but it sticks in mind that you don't go anywhere near contaminated casualties unless you're in MOPP4.
so it could have been a well poisoned with a dead body for all we know being blown up into a chemical attack
All we’ve seen are hospital videos of alleged victims and wrapped bodies of persons who could have been killed by any number of types of weapons. We’ve not seen any mass scenes of extermination with hordes of unmarked bodies of people and animals lying about, the kind of scene that’s common where real chemical attacks have occurred. The most accurate thing that can be said about the “evidence” is that it’s conflicting and confused. Hence, all the more reason for congressional hearings and a vote on whether to go to war.
I DETEST the fact that I agree with this CRAZY person.
Exactly, all we are seeing is emotional "Green helmet guy" footage of a couple dozen bodies being re-staged.
Grayson is an idiot. While you absolutely would not want to risk going into a previously contaminated area, the lethality of chemical agents like Sarin actually dissipates fairly quickly, in about 30 minutes.
That doesn’t mean that you couldn’t suffer significant nerve damage from being exposed after the majority of the agent dissipates, but it’s not like many people depict - that is, if you just touch something slightly contaminated you will most certainly DIE.
Okay, maybe it was a space alien attack.
But whatever it was, why is it our problem? It's been a tar baby for over 2000 years.
The Romans came, they saw, they conquered ... and they gave up and left.
Some chemicals disperse or degrade very quickly. Some will last for years (every once in a while a French farmer will dig up and be injured by some mustard "gas" from WW I). The lack of cross contamination is not proof either way.
I agree Grayson is an idiot- but does anyone else but me think those photos of the dead ‘gassed’ in Syria look staged?
I saw the photos of those gassed by Hussein in Iraq, and they were hideously contorted in pain and discolored.(Saddam, not Barak)
These looked like they could wake up and walk away
Syria is another one of those boxes I check off as to why I don’t believe Obama ever intended to be reelected.
Everything he did in his first term was an intentional screw up to leave it for the republican president that followed him to try and clean up, thus insuring a failed presidency and paving the way for Hillary in 2016.
No one on the face of the planet is this big a screw up by accident.
I believe the left thinks starting a full blown war is the only way to save themselves.
Divert people’s attention to something else more important.
Grayson is saying Syria has not stepped over dumBO’s red line. Don’t get between Odungo and a golf course.
Grayson on Syria not enough? Look into his positions on TARP and the Fed.
