In days gone past, it probably would’ve been pretty innocent and merely drawn a few puzzled looks. These days I wouldn’t be surprised if it triggered a visit from Secret Service. Just my $0.02.

You do recall that Jeanel or whatever her name was friend of Trayvon could not even passably speak English. And she is “the future.” What do you think the idiots will “think” when they see something in Latin?

Why not just have a sticker of the flag of the state of VA on the back of your car? That way you could express your support for “liberty over tyranny” while also sending a big ole ooo-wee honey child shout out to the big-government gun-grabbing homosexuals north of Richmond! Go for it, you sockdologizing old man-trap!

Given that the phrase is not obscure, and is intimately associated with the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln and Roman dictator Julius Caesar, you might want to rethink putting it on your car.
Would you display a bumper sticker that said, "Assassinate Obama"?
If not, then a well-known Latin phrase is not an effective way to "hide" that sentiment.

A bumper sticker that says “VERY LARGE LETTERS” in Latin? I don’t get it.

If I recall my schoolgirl Latin, the translation is “Thus always to tyrants,” which doesn’t mean much by itself until you recall Shakespeare’s play “Julius Caesar” . . . where it meant, “Tyrants eventually always get the knife” (implying that they deserve it).
I guess it depends on how much your audience knows about Shakespeare. ;o)
