Iraq is becoming a full fledged civil war. Afghanistan is decaying, the Kurds are raising up an army to take on al qaeda, Turkey wants its cut, and Syria is a problem far from solved. Nothing is “over”.
This is a war between shia and sunni. Move out of the way. To the winner goes the spoils, then nuke the ‘winner’, keep the spoils. Problem solved.
