CLOVERDALE — An Arizona man was jailed in Putnam County on Monday night after being stopped by Indiana State Police and found to be transporting six persons whom police described as illegal aliens.

In a press release, ISP identified the driver as Luciano Cax Ortiz, 24, of Phoenix. Ortiz faces charges of transporting illegal aliens for gain, a class-A misdemeanor; harboring illegal aliens for gain, also a class-A misdemeanor; and operating without ever obtaining a license, a class-C misdemeanor.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency was contacted, ISP said in its release, but the federal agency was unable to offer assistance with the six passengers. The six passengers and the vehicle were transported to a nearby truck stop and released from ISP custody, according to the release. federal agency was unable to offer assistance ..instead asking for asylum or appying legally..Just hire a smuggler let him get caught and you get released.. and the smugglers crime does not even rate high enough to be felony..He should be out on bail in a few days.

Note that the Tribune Star (Terra Haute IN,) article headlines the six aliens as "undocumented." In fact, the article clearly documents that the Indiana state police (ISP) described the six workers as "illegal aliens" and charged the driver of the van with " transporting illegal aliens for gain, a class-A misdemeanor; harboring illegal aliens for gain, also a class-A misdemeanor."

And as another sign of the lawlessness of the Traitorobama and his ICE goons, the article notes: "The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency was contacted, ISP said in its release, but the federal agency was unable to offer assistance with the six [illegal alien] passengers. The six passengers and the vehicle were transported to a nearby truck stop and released from ISP custody."

Presumably the six released illegal aliens were not islamoterrorists with phony Mexican documents... we'll probably find out.
