The aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to be sent to Syrian coast?

EXCLUSIVE The aircraft carrier, which is emerging from a long technical stop in Toulon, should reach U.S. ships already off Syria. The Staff of the Armed Forces denied this.

According to a source close to the defense minister, the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle will soon reach the "Mediterranean theater somewhere between Cyprus and Syria." The same source indicates that "the decision was made, even if it is not official yet." The nuclear aircraft carrier, the flagship of the Navy, is operational again after a refurbishment carried out during a technical stop for several months at the shipyard DCNS Toulon.

"It is presently docked and received no order," says Colonel Gilles Jarron, spokesman of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces who denies that such a decision has been taken.

According to our information, the mission of the aircraft carrier in what could become a theater of operations, will be in collaboration with the U.S. Navy, which has already placed an additional destroyer in the Mediterranean. A total of four ships of the U.S. Navy equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles will be present.

...it was the noise from the washing machines (whew knew the French washed...Peeeew)

Also the conning tower windows frosted up....

Getting back to the washing machine noise....the French were cited but the Greenpeace nuts for disturbing the whales......and sonar operators thousands of miles away complained of the noise.

Sending the De Gaulle is like putting a Erte’ as a hood ornament on an Abrams tank.

Completely useless and for show.

Think it might lose a propeller again?

or someone will forget not to run all the washing machines at the same time and it vibrates the ship to pieces...

That the French want to be visible back benchers speaks volumes.

Could just be just simple saber-rattling, albeit very clumsy in execution.

Obama wants Israel to be forced into this war. Then he will help the muslim brotherhood sharia law pricks to over run Israel. I doubt they will be able to pull it off.

“...will be in collaboration with the U.S. Navy...”

Its hard to imagine the French military doing anything in collaboration with the US Military.
