Feeling better, thanks - back on the treadmill this evening - hasn't started to get easy yet. If I cast my mind back to 1976, I recall the first few weeks I was running - started out at a quarter mile and slowly increased. In the beginning I was wearing sneakers - I was in constant pain in my knees and ankles.
It took several weeks and my first pair of running shoes - Adidas - before I got past that point.
I'm much older now, but I'm sure I can can still do the job.
Tomorrow the National Mall will be hosting the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. Lots of road closures, but it appears my route into the Office will be open. Still, I will probably get up earlier - I expect major tie-ups.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
