MESA, Ariz. -- Arizona Sens. John McCain and Jeff Flake are set to participate in an "immigration conversation" in Mesa sponsored by the Arizona Republic.
Tuesday's event features two of the "Gang of Eight" who pushed a comprehensive immigration reform bill through the Senate earlier this year. The Republicans have spent part of the congressional summer recess trying to drum up public support for...

Plus they are voting by the millions. That is why we have Obama, not to mention the voter fraud instigated by the dems, ACORN etc etc etc.
We have been put in this position. Most conservative in the primary, republican in the general. Problem is the media picks our candidates so a Sarah Palin, Herman Cain or even a Ted Cruz in 2016 won’t happen.
Instead we will get Christie. I can almost guarantee it. The media loves him. And they will continue loving him right up to the general. Then they will do to him what they did to McCain and Romney. “ Do you want a squish republican or a democrat with principles?”
Conservatives will vote local, the Marxists will cheat, the media will lie and please welcome Hillary Clinton as the next POTUS.
Sorry about your hair. most of us do what we can.
I have spent plenty of time arguing with people here on this issue. Individually and in groups. The problem persists. So since we seem to agree that Conservatives helping to empower our problem is bad, I’ll tell you what. Why don’t we help each other and conservatism bu holding them to account. How about we work to prevent them from spreading GOP propaganda and talking points, derailing progress toward conservative solutions and the rest?
Because if you read any random post on these subjects you will see talking points a plenty and the demand for more of the same mistakes we keep making. You have been around and you’ve seen it.
I do not see how we get rid/defang the McCains of the GOP when people keep insisting we keep voting for them. Am I wrong?
“Instead we will get Christie. I can almost guarantee it.”
Sure we will. And people will dutifully go right back to the polls and vote for him ‘because the dem is worse’ while ignoring the fact that the dem has the dame record.
And in 4 years, do it again when the GOP runs an even more lib.
Wondering all the while why the GOP runs liberals.
“Wondering all the while why the GOP runs liberals”
Because they are lazy. It’s easy to be a Squish. Believing in something takes effort and commitment.
Plus running a Squish brings in hundreds of millions of dollars every 4 years for the GOP. Who cares who is President as long as they get theirs.
True that is.
It just amazes me that so many people who supposedly consider themselves patriots and rock ribbed conservatives run out and vote for a guy that is the very embodiment of everything they hate...or clame to...then get offended like a lib when someone calls them on it. Over and over. And God help anyone trying to stop it. Several of us deal with that all the time.
I want to know how we are supposed to be a cohesive unit when we collectively insist on staying divided. It’s really that simple.
The Tea Party should act quick. All they need is a recording of this travesty, a small video camera, and a panel of critics of these two buffoons.
The “moderator” of the panel shows a brief segment from either McCain or Flake, then halts the recording, and gets ordered rebuttals from the critics. When done, the whole thing is posted to Live Leak (not YouTube, which would immediately take it down).
Whoever owns the copyright would immediately complain, so the rebuttal needs to go viral quickly so it can’t get shut down easily.
I think they meant that people could comment as it was going on, but I could not find a comment area.
This is one of those events that someone has to somehow get a ticket (none were available to constituents or peons) and secretly video the event.
The sneaky back room “townhall” meetings should not be classified townhalls, that designation implies that people in the town can gather and discuss/question their representatives in government with no restrictions except for safety and security.
Now they can say they had a townhall meeting. What a sham.

What a joke!
Yes, but I just noticed that it is being fed live at the link below

Yup. Everyone wants their cake and wants it free, pain free and cooked just so.
There is no pain free in this deal. We are all going to feel it because we all contributed. I did voting for McCain to get Palin, others did voting this time for Mr. Severe Conservative.
Now we either face the music or lets all go watch cat videos.
Yes.
McCain describes himself and others as snobs.
Audience laughs.

Do you think companies will hire immigrants over Americans to avoid giving insurance under Affordable Care Act #azbordertalk
Senators had no answer, cowards!
Oh well that explains it. Care to elaborate with facts and logic as to how?
