Still have the headache...it is a strange phenomenon...cluster headache (NOT cluster MIGRAINE) tends to occur close to vernal Equinox...and affect the trigeminal nerve...which is why I feel like I have a hot poker in my right eye, and lightening striking constantly behind my right ear and down my cheek into my jaw......... These are also called “Suicide Headaches” (I chit you not!) because people have been known to kill themselves to make the pain go away....and they compare it to childbirth.......Well, I never had a kid through my eye or my ear, and Im not suicidal, but I highly recommend you invest in Excedrin!! Opiates do NOT help....so no fear of narcotics use here.......just suck it up and drive on :-) Kind of you to ask .. :-)

For some reason, that’s the best thing for me.
My mom gets cluster headaches (and eye migraines) in addition to the garden variety migraines. She describes it just as you do. Yikes
