My mom gets cluster headaches (and eye migraines) in addition to the garden variety migraines. She describes it just as you do. Yikes
Ask your mom if she seems to get the really LONG cluster headaches close to the fall and spring equinox...you see there IS a coorelation to the LIGHT...and a persons normal circadian cycle....(Trust me, I study this chit, because I detest not being able to “think” and these hadaches truly affect my cognition!
