Israeli intelligence can tie the recent gas attack against the Syrian rebels to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the German publication Focus reports.
U.S. Naval War College Professor John Schindler tweeted the story, adding that Israel shared the information with the U.S. and other allies.

OK I am going to be watching what was given in exchange for this information. I am having a real taught time believing Assad would do this the day after the UN arrived in country. So why is it being confirmed by MASSAD? What is being traded?

The Israeli gov’t has it’s own share of political disagreements. In this case, the quote was from a ‘former’ intelligence source. Who knows what his stance is now.

I question everything WH intelligence says, but if Israeli intelligence truly said it was Assad - it was Assad.

I still think it is the Muslim Brotherhood with the gas, blaming it on the Syrian Government.
Why? Because they know this will give Obama an excuse, which everyone will back,... to topple Assad.

I don’t buy it either. My guess is that Israel government wants the chemical weapons secured..that is all. Russia and Syrian government could stop the whole thing right now by agreeing to hand over the WMDS. That would really put a monkey wrench in any global elites plans to destabilize the region for other, nefarious purposes IMHO. I hope they do it. We have no business in Syria..at all. I would rather see Assad controlling country than a bunch of Islamist animals.
Israel has to be concerned if Syria is willing to gas their own people, he will use it on Israel. Assad is desperate, look to Israel to end it.
There are so many ‘reports’ it’s getting deliberately clouded.
I wonder, will we ever get an honest assessment of just who did use the weapons? Somehow I doubt it.
Some very strange plays going on these days, on the world stage that is.
This whole Arab spring is one big mess. I do not think Israel wants the Muslim Brotherhood controlling the country on their northeast. Just like they did not want them controlling Egypt. Russia does not want to lose their only Med port facility. Iran does not want to lose Syria, because they know they could be next. Saudi Arabia, Jordon, UAE, Kuwait and the rest of the monarchy's do not want Syria to fall. However, they are afraid of Iran too.
It is a mess. Other than being an ally of Israel I wish we could stay out of it. We have so many problems of our own.
The Israelis, I could believe. Not the muzzie brotherhood led WH.
