well gee its a good thing Christi signed all those gun control bills, cause those surely prevented this tragedy.
lets play a game and count all the laws broken before the shooting

As someone who regularly rides the PATH can say certain parts are a zoo
Have pan handlers roam the trains harassing people for money
Last year was going to NYC with girlfriend for Christmas -
had this crack head roaming the train screaming needed money for drugs
Took out my pocket knife and started cleaning fingernails
Took one look at me (6’ 5’ 225 lbs) with this wicked looking knife and disappeared....
Did not see him again.........

“Her brother, who was riding in the train car with her, intervened and convinced Turpin to put the gun away.
“Ms Drummer said she then remarked, ‘Who pulls out a gun for something like this?’”
That’s when Turpin started firing, Ms Drummer told the TV station.”
I’m not excusing the perp here in any way, shape or form. But if some nutjob pulls a gun and is ready to shoot you, don’t tempt fate after your brother calms said nutjob down. It’s a legitimate question she asked (answer: a nutjob and/or a thug who thinks he’s a big man for waving a gun in an innocent citizen’s face), but maybe that moment wasn’t the right time to voice it.

He shot one woman in the ankle and hit another in the hand. Then, he accidentally shot himself in the leg, according to reports.I've never taken the PATH at 5:10 AM. It must really be interesting!

This article can’t be correct, because ordinary citizens are not allowed to carry handguns in New Jersey. Also, the law forbids convicts from even having guns, so how could this man have a gun?
The gun probably did the shooting by itself, and implicated the suspect because of racism.

Where do we start?
1) Tari Turpin was a black ex-felon in possession of a firearm (illegal and gets you 10 years in ClubFed, not to mention NJ).
2) Turpin committed attempted murder assaults on two train passengers (further felonies) before wounding himself.
3) NONE of New Jersey's draconian gun laws prevented Mr. Turpin from acquiring a pistol or assaulting these two victims. Can Gov. Chris (Krispy Kreme) Christie explain how all his gun control failed to stop this? No, but Christy will say he needs more laws to punish the innocent.
