An ex-con opened fire on a train in New Jersey and wounded two passengers - and then himself - after becoming enraged when a stranger objected to him falling asleep on her shoulder, police said today.

This article can’t be correct, because ordinary citizens are not allowed to carry handguns in New Jersey. Also, the law forbids convicts from even having guns, so how could this man have a gun?
The gun probably did the shooting by itself, and implicated the suspect because of racism.

Where do we start?
1) Tari Turpin was a black ex-felon in possession of a firearm (illegal and gets you 10 years in ClubFed, not to mention NJ).
2) Turpin committed attempted murder assaults on two train passengers (further felonies) before wounding himself.
3) NONE of New Jersey's draconian gun laws prevented Mr. Turpin from acquiring a pistol or assaulting these two victims. Can Gov. Chris (Krispy Kreme) Christie explain how all his gun control failed to stop this? No, but Christy will say he needs more laws to punish the innocent.

Uh, what’s wrong with hollow-tip bullets?

That’s all I keep in my little .22 revolver.

You can possess hollow point ammo in your home or when traveling to/from range

Carrying it in public is felony.......
