I wonder if boy bigears is being told how unpopular his Syrian sand trap is.
And if so, in what heavy handed way he will ignore it.
Or if instead his advisors paint rosy images of children throwing flowers at his feet as people rejoice.
It could be like in the Soviet politburo where the ministers presented only what the supreme soviet wanted to hear, because to do otherwise meant a nine millimeter brain hemorrhage.
I am inclined to think that Obama himself is not the real power, and somewhere, some really big money sees some advantage in all this. It does drive up oil prices, but I’m not sure that’s it.
As to the rest, I tend to “buy” Rush’s theory that Obama’s people all think like him anyway, so they tell him what he wants to hear because they think it too, regardless of unpleasant facts. I’m just not so sure “Administration” people themselves are the real power brokers.

I have little doubt Putin would not hesitate to arrange the gassing of civilians in order to embarrass Obama and weaken the U.S. The situation in Syria is so chaotic, I suspect such an attack could be pulled off without Russian involvement being found out. Just add a few chem shells to an ongoing Syrian bombardment or one the Russkies knew was going to occur. Cheese in the trap Obama built for himself...
