If you or your parent is a military veteran then USAA is a great alternative.
Better yet, wrap up a brick and attach the envelope to it.
Good short list. Thanks for posting.
Between the murdering gang thug, and dog killer, players, combined with the appalling way Tim Tebow has been treated by the entire organization, because he's Christian- NFL Football has lost most of its appeal.
I don't, and won't, use/buy the other services/products listed here.
“Well, GEICO used to mean Government Employees’ Insurance COmpany”

Yes, They may have intended to be that way when they went into business, but even back in the 60s, anyone could buy from them.
One of which is they buy coffee beans from Vietnam .... a country whose government takes prime coffee-growing land from private citizens for its own benefit and is ass-deep in human trafficking.
I have USAA and like them very much. One problem with USAA though-when I went to get insurance for my ATV they don't offer motorcycle insurance. They partner with Progressive, which I wanted to avoid just by principal. I actually had a good experience with Progressive a few years ago when I was t-boned by a Progressive-insured driver. But it wasn't a good enough experience to override my disgust of their political leanings.
, but you can only get this if you are active military, or retired military or a spouse.
USAA
Whenever I get an AARP letter offering membership, I cut the contents into small pieces and mail them back in their postage paid envelope.
Great Thread, Kaslin!
We should keep a list of businesses that are NOT FRIENDLY to conservatives, and boycott each and every one of them.
I try to do that in my day-to-day activities, but there are a lot of stealthy LIEberal companies out there that need to be sniffed out by intrepid conservative reporters and then avoided.
We should be able to do that, don’t you think?
When you see the word PROGRESSIVE read: LEFTIST.
Whenever you see the word PROGRESSIVE read: LEFTIST.
Wouldn’t hurt to SAY LEFTIST too.
Time to uncover the rot.
I already don't do business with any of those five companies, I also refuse to buy another GM product ever again, period.
I also don't have Cable or Satellite TV (dropped DirecTV last August) and instead have over-the-air TV. Occasionally rent a movie via my Roku device (gee, I hope I don't have to give THAT up...) from Vudu (I hope they're ok....)
In principle, I agree that we should be very careful where and how we spend our money. I'm a cheap bastard (seriously cheap....) so I hardly spend money anyway. My own vehicle is 11 years old, going on 12. I'll drive it until the wheels fall off.
Even then, there are times when alternatives to products and services that are not from some whack-job left-wing environmental whackjob are hard to find.
We should all do the best we can and recognize that sometimes, there are no suitable alternatives.
So do I! Difference is I include a very nasty letter also in their postage paid envelope. It's become one of my favorite "form letters" that I send back to them every few months or so when one of their mailings shows up in my mailbox.
My Brother in Law just signed with 21st Century too
I had Progressive for a year and then I got a quote from a local mom and pop insurance place that offered insurance through several companies. The quote they gave me was through Cincinnatti Casualty, and my premium was much less for very similar coverage. Afterwards I hear about Peter Lewins, and then felt even better about my decision to switch.
Liberals make me feel economic pain by voting me out of my income by pushing for higher taxes, and utility fees, so where I can push back by not buying their products, goods, or services.
“No problem avoiding any of them except Chrysler, because I like my Jeep and I dont like the alternatives.”
HUMMER or Land Rover perhaps?
Love my HUMMER! I grew up with Jeeps in my family over the years, going all the way back to the Jeep Commando. Had to get out to lock the wheels by hand for 4-wheel drive!
Fond memories aside, Chrysler will never get another dime of my family’s money!
“I cut up the little plastic ID card, too. Sometimes I add in a little extra chopped up newspaper to make a really fat return.”
I now do this with all GOPe solicitations! I mark the back of the envelope with, “NO MORE RINOS!”
My wife thinks I’m nuts every time I do it.
Good post.
I am already boycotting every one of those scumbag companies.
