DeMayo hasn't been elected yet, in fact he has filed to run for Congress and hasn't declared whether he will run for Mayor.

The City Council voted 7-0 Friday to approve a deal to accept Filner's resignation in exchange for covering some of his legal expenses What? Taxpayers have to pay his lawyers? That makes no sense. I wouldn't have taken that "deal". Hell it shouldn't even be legal. Force the SOB out against his will.
Including Gloria, at least four of the potential candidates lining up to replace Filner are gay, including one Republican.
4? Jeez. Migrants from Frisco? Nice weather though.
The gay RINO (Carl DeMaio) is running for Congress instead BTW.
