Some people really hate these “gay” guys because of all the disease and lies and hatred and degradation that they spread. However, and even if it sounds crazy for a moment please bear with me, God’s Spirit has got me in a pincer hold. And God has made it very clear to me that He wants to save, wash, and renew as many of these grim people as possible. He’s not there in heaven with any grudges against them. That is why He sent His Son to sacrifice His life upon the cross of Calvary. They’re the ones with grudges against Him! The troubles they have are a very loud signal that they need the Lord. Whoever dares to effectively share the great news of the gospel with them is going to get richly blessed, and will also gain a new set of witnesses to God’s love and glory. We’re all losers in our fallenness. But God is the winner, always has been, always will be. If Satan digs a hole, God fills it twice as much. Let’s see these people as God does — as prospective resources for His kingdom. Not wimpily merely doing a rope a dope on His forgiveness after salvation (as much as that is needed for every Christian), but claiming His bold love. Which WILL sanctify their bodies if they exalt Him to that purpose. Not MIGHT... WILL! And it will be a huge in-your-face to Satan as all the physical and emotional resources that had been dedicated to sin come under the “God’s spell” of Christ’s righteousness.
Let me tell you brothers and sisters. When we see the “gays” getting saved openly, we will know without a doubt God is in our land again. It’s going on now, has been for decades, but in private settings and the people are shy because they get a lot of opprobrium. Boldness needs to be brought back into the picture. The Lion of Judah did not come to this wicked earth to meow in a corner!
And when Houston’s lesbian mayor is term limited out, she’ll probably be replaced by the gay prostitute trolling George Greanias.
So now guys will be hit upon.
