I’m not blaming the judge in this case. He gave out as much time as the law would let him. But it seems to me this kid was already a hardened punk before he beat a man to death. Why he wasn’t tried in adult court is beyond me.
He’ll then have the “I’ve been in” swagger and a notch in his belt.
