2010 was also the year China overtook America as the worlds largest car market, as the worlds largest retail market, and as the worlds greatest producer of patents. A year later China became the globes greatest user of energy. In 2012 China became the worlds biggest market for PCs, and the primary source of global trade. Just three days ago China unveiled the worlds most powerful computer.

America can come back, and regain its number one position. Just give millions of green cards to hard working and high IQ Chinese people, in order to counter-balance the millions of low IQ people from Latin America. After all, somebody has to earn the money that is needed to pay for all the food stamps and section 8 housing.
To: ComtedeMaistre
counterbalancing isn’t enough. the only way it could work would be to get the smart people but ditch the low iq’s to another country. otherwise the welfare base continues to explode because they are having kids at far higher rates than any other demographic.

The only way to cut back the underclass birthrate is to cut back the freebies they get. It would also raise the birthrate of the groups that are taxed to support them, because they would be able to afford more kids sooner in life.

That’s called the H-1B program.
Half the Chinese here are spying on us.
The other half? They’re spying on them!

China has four times as many people. It will be the world’s largest economy when its per capita GDP reaches 25% of the U.S. level. And this will be a good thing, not a bad thing.
The sooner China climbs the ladder, the sooner its low wage advantage will disappear, and the sooner it will mature as a market for U.S. products. And the sooner the regime will have to accept real political reform. I am all favor of China becoming affluent.

We're still armed and enough of us still dangerous to enemies of America.
Unless the SHTF, they'll wait us out 'til we die.

It didn’t have to be this way, but when the leeches became the majority, they elected “leaders” who would keep the gravy train rolling in their direction.

Sorry, but we don’t surrender our title as quickly as the Brits did. We’ve still got more nukes :)

"Americas supremacy is finished. Why dont we understand this?"Some individual Briton wanting America's supremacy to be finished doesn't make it so.
But our supremacy is in danger for the following reasons.\
- Our leaders and by implication our people have rejected God and thus forfeited His wisdom and His protection.
- We give foreign countries unfettered access to our markets, even when the wage differentials are so large that it's sure to cost American jobs and American industries.
- We give unfettered access even when the playing fields are clearly uneven.
- We are conceited and think Americans can successfully compete anyway against ridiculous wage differentials and trade disadvantages, dispite the clear historical trend.
- We hate government so much that we've forgotten and are unwilling to revisit the historical role of government in protecting our markets and using import tariffs for government revenue. Even though our free market is being systematically destroyed by communist governments like China.
- We've promoted our history of allowing immigration to the point that some people think it's a "human right" to immigrate to the U.S., and even want immigration when the U.S. is struggling with unemployment.
- We've abandoned the rule of law to the point that our President only enforces laws to the extent he wants to and the democrats in the Senate support him in doing this.
- We've allowed foreign funding of special interest groups to derail nuclear energy in the U.S.
- We've distained anti-trust legislation and allowed the press to consolidate so that they all speak with one voice.
- We've allowed foreigners to purchase ownership of our press so that the press speaks a message that is no longer even American.
There' that's a start

There are better qualified people who would disagree.

She’s the go to on China right now. Capital is leaving China by the container ship load right now. They’re government debt is now 214% of GDP and climbing, and that’s with the numbers fudged heavily in China’s direction.
That doesn’t scream ‘superpower’ to me.
All that other stuff about markets are true, but only because we are actively trying to assassinate the middle class in America of late.

America can come back, and regain its number one position...WAIT! Seriously, you can't actually believe this dribble, please stop a sec and first look at the clown that wrote the piece--
--I mean, I wouldn't let my kids near the guy. Then check out the actual world's GDP %/country that the world's business community uses (from here):

OK, so China's come a long way but it's still way short of the U.S. or Europe.
To: ComtedeMaistre
Candidate Obama opined that America was too much involved in world affairs (not his exact words), too domineering.
Well; problem solved!! All it took was a chief executive that doesn’t favor a strong, prominent, freedom promoting, life defending America.

Ditch ‘em to another country via World War. That’s how it used to be done in the old days, anyway.

Too many UK pundits and journalists still think of America as unquestionably the most puissant and important country.
Only the ones who are in touch with reality. China has a host of it's own economic and social problems that will keep it from catching the US in terms of military power or global influence for at least 50 years, and more likely for the rest of the century. The US is bound to decline if we can't find a way to improve our politicized, unionized, and increasingly worthless educational system, control our borders, and stop the current drift toward European-style socialism. But that decline won't bring China or any other nation to US levels of both hard and soft power any time soon.
Points to the author for finding a way to trot out the word "puissant", however.
