That’s only a solution to the thug.
The solution to the thug culture is worth thinking about.
For me this is the question:
“Why are black, inner city families broken….why do these families have gun violence, high out-of-wedlock pregnancy rate, drug use, dependence on welfare/food stamps?”
It’s too easy to say that kids are thugs because they don’t have fathers and mothers guiding them. I think that’s true, but it doesn’t answer the question.
WHY are they broken?
I think it’s because we have left the spring of living water, and this is the consequence, and consequences are often punishment.
Why has God NOT granted us healing?
Because His people are arrogant and given to wicked ways and will not humble themselves before Him and His wisdom.
God’s People are at one of those times when THEY think THEY know better.
I guess I agree re: result/cause thing. However, no solution is possible, even in the remotest sense, when you have an Attorney General who REFUSES to classify black-on-white crime (HIS people) as a hate crime. It is much more exacerbated by a President that has to put his two cents in as a ‘black’ whenever a black commits an obvious wrong and then promptly absolves them with a “could have been my son”, while completely and obviously ignoring any crime against whites by blacks.
Both of these boys/supposed to be men are nothing more than a dried up dog turd on a summer lawn.
Without Jesus Christ, there will be no healing. With him all things are possible.
Why are teen girls having kids outside of marriage?
Because they can.
We’re looking at it backwards. Young girls WILL have sex and get pregnant unless there is a strong disincentive against it. Welfare and court-enforced child support means they can have kids without the bother of havingto keep a guy happy.
Eliminate welfare and child support for unmarried births, and teen pregnancy will go back down to what they were.
