SPOKANE, Wash. — Police said they arrested one juvenile male in connection with the beating death of an 88-year-old WWII veteran Wednesday.
The suspect has been charged with first degree murder and first degree robbery. His name has not yet been released because of his age.
The other suspected killer is still on the loose.
The Spokane Police Department said in a press release officers responded to reports of an assault and found the victim in his car with serious head injuries on Wednesday evening. He later died in the hospital.
Authorities on Thursday released surveillance photos of the two suspects, who they describe as black males between the ages of 16 and 19.
Friends identified the victim as Delbert Belton, and say he was sitting outside a lodge for the Fraternal Order of the Eagles when he was attacked. He died in the hospital Thursday from head wounds.
KXLY-TV reports that Belton served in Army during World War II and was shot in the leg during the Battle for Okinawa. He was also a lifetime steelworker.

You would be surprised at how strong such memories are among blacks.
A couple years ago a black neighbor was here when I pulled my light out of the truck and he called it my “Malice Green signature series mag light”. I had never thought about it but he said that blacks talk about that sort of thing and pass it down for generations.
If he still has a gun he may want to go out in a blze of glory and take innocent civilians and cops with him on his road to perdition.

Hi - I looked it up but cannot get over just who in their right mind would name a kid “Malice.” That’s quite a set-up for life isn’t it.
What's funny is that his parents likely had no idea where the name came from. They just decided it sounded like the other 'black culture' names which were attempts to mimic the 'royal family' names used in the movie ROOTS.
Oprah Winfrey started her climb to fame and fortune on that mini-series. It caused an extreme rise in 'white guilt' and was the crack that started the giant divide we see today. Suddenly , every Negro in America became an 'AFRICAN-American' (though most had no ancestors from Africa, nor had ever been there, and damn sure didn't want to visit. Every Negro was suddenly the descendent of a Zulu Warrior or Princess. (Oprah even got a DNA test that showed she was the direct descendant of a ZULU PRINCESS, even though there is no such 'test' or 'determination' that can be found in DNA to support that claim).
Just like most things about 'black culture', it was all a complete lie. The main concept for the book was a plagiarism of a book written about the treatment of Jews during Nazi Occupation.
Nobody 'called' Alex Haley on it because (1) he was 'black', and (2) it was making billions of dollars.

Interesting how this dirtbag problem developed in Spokane. Hasn’t been that long since there were NO black punks there. The Airforce brought Fairchild and that brought blacks, some of whom stayed. Thanks Air Force. Before that, Spokane was a working, industrial town, where you had zero excuses for being out of work: mining, lumber, railroad, Ag. And it is still mostly “country”, not “big city” and I’m pretty sure this krap will not stand.
He would have been a little older—the invasion of Okinawa took place in April 1945, or 68 years ago...so he would have been at least 19, maybe 20 at the time.
I can’t either but I’m sure their mommas will have detailed explanations as to how carefully, courteously, thoughtfully they were raised to be model citizens and there must be some mis-understanding here.
Well, come now, I'm sure they gave it a lot of aforethought.

Ah...I doubt these two had heard of that case.
He is a juvenile, other than a “don’t do that again” pat on the back of the hand, don’t expect much in the way of justice to be done. Not even giving him a dirty look.

My neighbor describes the Malice Green story as kind of a common boogieman story told by urban blacks to children.
Its a warning. You don’t want to wind up like Malice Green, or you don’t want to end up like Rodney King.
