It is definitely the gangsta culture - one that is promoted by Obama’s best friends in the rap world and in fact one that he occasionally tries to emulate in speech or in gesture.
Obama is a wanna-be black, and he has decided that gangsta culture epitomizes what it means to be black. So he’s desperately trying to latch onto it.
If responsible black elected representatives and people like the half-black Obama spoke out against gangsta culture, I think it would give courage to others in the black population to reject it and call it what it is, evil. But instead they turn up at their desks wearing hoodies and announcing that all blacks are just like and must identify with some destructive, violent, going-nowhere product of gangsta culture.
