Johnson City, TN. As I recall, back in the 40s and 50s there was a novelty company in Johnson City.....they put out a big thick catalog that was packed with every kind of gag and trick....from whooopee cushions to cigarette loads. To young clods like us down on the farm in the boonies of Pennsyltucky, that was a hit and a time passer. I wonder if that company still exists?

You got me on that one. Didn’t spend all that much time there growing up since I was an Army brat. Next time I’m home will have ask around.

Could you mean the Johnson Smith Company? They were never in Johnson City, but yes, they’re still around.
