I agree with you but one thing to think about - the woman had to be beyond thrilled that the POTUS called her. She was incredible.

The ordeal would have ended at lot sooner if she had a gun to kill the evildoer. Talk...talk...talk wastes time. A bullet gets the job done quickly.
