What they are actually saying/admitting to here is that records indicate that the Earth has been WARMER in the past, and that in fact it is COOLER now. If the Earth is warmer than it's ever been, why are they not saying THE WARMEST on record....

Also, the phrase "on record" is basically a lie. Although we don't have actual measured temperature data, we do have historical records and evidence that the Earth was MUCH warmer than it is today hundreds of years ago, when there were FARMERS ON GREENLAND during the Medieval Warm Period.

I heard what you are saying, 5th and 6th warmest ever does not make this GW skeptic happy. I’d much rather see 5th and 6th coolest. I will say that I find the claim 6th warmest very hard to believe since it seemed like a very cool July August to me here in Texas. Is someone is cooking the books again?
