2015 Mustang uncovered pics...front end.
Pics at link.
Hmm. Honestly, I like the cleaner look of the 2012 Mustang better.
A Muslin Mustang? Wearing a Burka?
check to see if it has any hump(s) in the middle?
Why don’t they just go back and make Eleanor?
Mummy Mustang?
Sad to know that a brand new car needs to be held together with duct tape. Not a good move there, Ford.
I agree, the clean retro look is much better than this. This looks like a Clinton-era mustang. And that’s not a good kind of retro.
Funeral hearse model? Cool!
Nah... 2005 had the right idea. Then they went and gussied it all up again. The newer headlights and taillights ARE cool.. but they started taking a “Retro” look and then seemed to say “But it’s so dated!” and added more LEDs.
And that’s basically what ALL car manufacturers have been doing lately. Just adding LEDs to stuff.
That said, the newer one pictured here sure has a nice face up front - But it’s the SAME F*CKING FRONT THAT’S ON EVERYTHING !
Finally, ... They registered it ? New York plates. That MUST mean that they have crashed a few models to get some sort of approval.
challenger is still better.
I think it’s interesting that Aston Martin seemed to copy the 70s Mustangs with their 80’s V8 coupe - But now Ford has gone and returned the favor by copying the 2000’s Aston Martin DB front end for their Mustang.
Well played, Ford. Well played.
(Too bad I no longer buy UAW-built prods)
.
Most LED DRLs are annoying and repellent.
Some look like cheap Christmas lights. Others are too bright. Doesn't make me want to look at the car.
If it actually looks as good as this rendering, I might buy one. Still would prefer to have a ‘69 though.
Although I'd buy a Harley instead.
I wish my mom still had her 71 Mach 1 .......:(
Please ping me when you've found the new 2015 bad-azz retro Yugo.
IMHO, it’s gone too far away from the original lines. The original “redesign” that harkened back to the late-60s Mustang was terrific, and even the next-gen version of that was still “close enough”. The car was instantly recognizable, and made for great marketing. This latest look though, to me, seems to have lost the plot, and yes, once more we see the “angry car” look cropping up. Maybe it’s time for Ford to do a look at the 71-73 design language.
