I think it’s interesting that Aston Martin seemed to copy the 70s Mustangs with their 80’s V8 coupe - But now Ford has gone and returned the favor by copying the 2000’s Aston Martin DB front end for their Mustang.

Well played, Ford. Well played.

They did it in the Fusion 1st.

Six months ago I went to the dealership to buy a Tauras SHO. As I walking back to sign the paperwork I noticed the Fusion.

“Awesome look! I’ll take that instead”.

Salesman wanted to know if I wanted a test drive.

“Nope. Been driving Ford all my life and this car looks fun and I’m in a hurry”.

Love it and will get the Police Interceptor next year.

Yep - European Ford’s copied it first, back when Ford owned Aston Martin. Finally getting a real sports car to mimic it six years after they sold the company.
