Jones is apparently a whitey who is getting off on lesser charges.
Jones (the 17 yr old) was the one who turned them in. I’m sure they were all high as kites at the time, since getting stoned and doing some crime seems to be all the rage right now. But the idea apparently came from the 16 yr. old, although it’s not clear if it was the 16 yr old or the 15 yr old who fired the gun.
