Journalist Michael Hastings, who was killed in a fiery Los Angeles crash in June, died of "traumatic injuries" as a result of the accident and had traces of drugs in his system, Los Angeles coroner's officials said Tuesday.
Hastings, 33, died June 18 in a single-vehicle accident. His car burst into flames and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Coroner's officials said Hastings had traces of amphetamine in his system, consistent with possible intake of methamphetamine many hours before death, as well as marijuana. Neither were considered a factor in the crash, according to toxicology reports.

And the autopsy report said that it would be consistant with meth use several hours before so its possible he crashed and then he crashed.

If a person takes amphetamines it will test as amphetamines. If a person takes a methamphetamine, It will test as an amphetamines. So the article is irresponsible. It cannot be proven that he took Meth. He could’ve taken just an amphetamine, many which are prescribed drugs.

I believe it is fairly well known that Andrew Breitbart had a history of heart problems. Its not actually unheard of for people with a history of heart problems to die from heart related issues and I’m prety sure his family would of spoken up if he didnt have a history of heart problems.

He had no history of heart problems. He had not been under the care of a doctor, and had not been hospitalized or seen a doctor.
The msm put the lie out that he had heart problems. His FIL (an actor or some Hollywood connection, Orson Bean or something?) when asked, said he had no idea of any heart problems in Breitbart. The FIL and Breitbart were close.

I also had an uncle who died of a heart attack while sitting on his couch watching a football game. He was a Steeler backer. Do you suppose a Cleveland fan did him in?
