Prosecutors: Man shoots friends, 1 fatally, over beer money

A man who had contributed money to buy beer along with his friends became angry when he did not get any change back and fatally shot one of those friends and critically wounded another over the weekend, officials said.
Gumaro Torres, 31, was ordered held without bail after being charged with the shootings that happened about 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, officials said in court today. He was charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

I did.
