Thank you for the clarification. It’s amazing how a few facts can alter one’s opinion. Until I got to your post, I was inclined to think poorly of the officer. This puts the situation in a whole new light.
Excellent point about not believing the media. It’s almost a guarantee that if they write a story that favors one side of an issue, I’m on the other side, especially after I get the facts.
I wish I could say more, but everyone already “knows” the story anyway. By the time the truth comes out, it won’t matter. The “truth,” aka “the story,” was written by the Houston Chronicle before a single fact was known by anyone but the two men who walked away from that house.
